Heavenly Father we have come into your presence with a desire to worship you and to bring our praise and adoration to you the king of kings and Lord of lords.
We ask that you would help us Lord through your Holy Spirit, to worship you freely and in spirit and in truth.
Bless our brother/sister N... as they share you word with us and enable us to be open to your word.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen

I've recently been told at a Church Council Meeting that one of the things that has stopped people from stepping forward as a Steward is worry about saying a prayer in the vestry with the minister before the service.
One of our members (also a steward) who loves writing prayers said that she would write some prayers for people to use in the vestry.
So publishing these sorts of prayers can only be a good thing.
Thank you so much for your prayers. I use them to help me put together vestry prayers and others as well. You always write what I am thinking but unable to put together on paper.
